“Like the view?” she asked.
“I bet everyone in your office likes the view.”
"Don't tell me you think I dress inappropriately."
"Not at all. I need to figure out how to get you to work for me. I guess Gary doesn't appreciate it?"
"He thinks I should be more demure."
"No disrespect, but he's crazy. If Maggie dressed like that I'd be ripping her clothes off every day."
"In our house it's been the other way around lately. Not that I'm complaining. He just needs a little encouragement to get started."
Adam laughed. "Maybe he's already worn out by the time you get home."
"He's adapting to watching Connor. I'm proud of him."
"That's not what I meant. Besides, isn't Maggie over there almost every day? She’s probably doing all the hard work. Unless she’s the one wearing him out.”
"You think my husband is fucking your wife?” Alexandra almost choked on her martini.
"No, I'm just kidding. Could you even imagine that?" Adam had to laugh.
"It doesn't bother you to kid about that? I mean, they are spending a lot of time together. Who knows what could happen?"
“You mean something like this evening?”
“Very funny,” she replied.
"Maggie would never cheat on me. It's not even a possibility."
"But what if something did happen between them? I mean, hypothetically. I don't think Gary would ever cheat on me either, I’m just playing devil’s advocate."
Adam sipped his gin and tried to imagine it happening. He just didn’t see it, but tried to humor her. "Not that I think it would ever happen—I mean, come on, not Maggie—but if she and Gary hooked up I could live with it—as long as I got reciprocal benefits."
"Really? Now that's an interesting thought. So you wouldn’t be jealous at all? They could screw all day, as long as you got to fuck me?"
Adam considered it another moment. Yes, another man touching his wife made him jealous, but then he weighed that against finally getting to fuck Alexandra. “Yeah, Lexi, I think I could live with that deal.” He smiled evilly.
“Don’t call me that,” she corrected.
“How about you? How would you feel if Gary and Maggie got it on?”
“Well, like you, I couldn’t imagine any two people less likely to cheat. And anyway, they’ve got the kids around all day. But if something happened and Gary was honest with me, I think I could let it go.”
“And what about some kind of reciprocal deal?”
Alexandra thought about that thick cock she’d grasped and a smile quirked her lips. “That might be fun. But don’t get your hopes up.”
It was nine when they left the bar and they spent another forty-five minutes talking in the parking lot sobering up before they left. Alexandra felt guilty she’d lost track of time. She knew Gary was home waiting for her. He thought she was working late, and she’d let him keep thinking that. She felt like it was finally time to get out of there.
“I really need to go. Gary is going to kill me,” she said.
“If you must. Tonight was a lot of fun. We need to do this more often.”
“Sure, that would be nice.”
“Hey, if Maggie and Gary are always hanging out, why can’t we?”
“Okay.” She turned to get into her car.
“What? No hug goodbye?”
They looked at each other for a moment and there was a weird tension in the air, like it was the end of a date and she was waiting to see if the boy would kiss her. Not that she was encouraging that. What happened earlier was an anomaly. Adam pulled her into his arms and his hand went right to her ass. It did not shock her, and she had to admit, she kind of liked it. She loved attention, and she was getting a lot of it tonight. She could not wait to get home to her husband. Gary wouldn’t know what hit him. Adam kissed her, and she let him. It seemed only fair after earlier.
Adam’s cock throbbed. Alexandra’s tight body pressed against him was enough to do that, but now they were kissing again. She still fought off his tongue, but that didn’t matter. It was a steamy, sensual kiss. She ran her fingers through his hair, his nails raking his scalp. Adam got the chills. Their kiss went on and on, until she pushed him away. He saw she was breathing as hard as he was. She looked a little dazed. Perfect, he thought.
“See you soon,” she said, and quickly turned away from him.
Adam watched her go and for the first time in all the years he’d lusted after the sexy blonde, he thought he had a real shot at sleeping with her.

Alexandra braced herself as she closed the door behind her. It was very late and she knew Gary was going to be pissed. Connor was already in bed so the house was quiet, except for the faint murmur of the television from the family room. She slipped her leather briefcase from her shoulder and stepped out of her heels so he would not hear her clicking down the hallway on the hardwood floors.
“Hey, sorry I’m late,” she said cheerfully.
Gary was watching some movie, which he clicked off. He came around the couch and did not look angry. She was relieved. They embraced and kissed. When Gary pulled back his expression had changed.
“You’ve been drinking,” he said.
Damn, she thought. Alexandra had hoped the breath mints had taken care of that. Caught, she copped to the truth. “I met Adam at Happy Hour for a few drinks. I guess I should have texted you or something.”
“Happy Hour ended long ago.”
“We got to talking. You know how it is.”
“Yeah, I guess so. You’re safe out with Adam.”
Alexandra flashed back to their kiss and hoped guilt didn’t wash across her face. “You know how he is. It’s all harmless.”
Gary took her in. “He must have appreciated that outfit.”
“Don’t start that again,” she sighed.
Alexandra was utterly startled when Gary grabbed and kissed her. Not only was it out of nowhere, it was unusually aggressive. It was fiery and possessive. His tongue plunged past her lips and she desperately sucked on it. After her evening this was exactly what she needed. It was like Gary had read her mind. She snapped out of her stupor and grabbed at him, tearing at his t-shirt. He held her face in both hands, so tightly it almost hurt—but that only turned her on more.
Gary pulled on the buttons holding her jacket closed and almost tore them off. She shrugged out of the expensive garment and let it drop to the floor in a heap. He grunted upon seeing she was wearing nothing but the sexy bra and she wondered if it was disapproval or arousal. He pawed at her tits in a rush, like he couldn’t quite control himself. She had to ask him later what had him in such a state. He teased her nipples through the sheer lace and she tore her lips from his to moan. She dug her nails into the back of his neck and directed his kisses at her throat. Gary sucked her tender flesh and nibbled at her neck and she clutched him tighter. Alexandra’s heart was pounding and her pussy was soaked. On her worst night she didn’t need endless foreplay, but she had been ready to go when she stepped through the door. Gary was just driving her crazier now.
“Hey!” she exclaimed when he spun her and pushed her forward over the back of the couch. Her short skirt was pushed up over her ass until her tattoo was just exposed and he tore the expensive lace thong away. That last part annoyed her, but she’d let it go under the circumstances. He just wouldn’t be able to complain when she went shopping for new stuff. And with one sharp thrust, he fully entered her. Alexandra cried out.
Gary held onto his pretty wife’s narrow hips and drove his cock into her. He looked down on her tight body and thought about how lucky he was, but that didn’t push the other thoughts out of his mind. Alexandra held onto the couch, not knowing that just hours earlier he’d fooled around with Maggie right there. He hadn’t been able to put thoughts of his friend out of his mind. What would Maggie have done if he’d bent her over the couch like this? He imagined her big tits bouncing beneath her as he took her from be
hind. Would she be loud? Alexandra could be pretty loud, and she liked the dirty talk. Maggie didn’t seem like that. He felt guilty for thinking of Maggie as he fucked his wife and he forced his mind back into the moment.
“Yes! Yes! Fuck me!” Alexandra cried. Her orgasm rushed toward her quickly. She thrust back at her husband and it almost hurt when they slammed together. His balls slapped at the backs of her thighs. She loved that Gary was taking her like this and wished he found this side of himself more often.
As he pounded his wife, Gary imagined Adam ogling her at the bar and staring down her top every time she leaned forward. He knew Adam would have done it, just as he knew that Alexandra wouldn’t have minded. She might have even encouraged. He knew nothing would have happened at that bar, but ginning up a little jealousy helped with his own guilt over Maggie. God, his wife was hot. She looked amazing with the sweat glistening on the long expanse of her back. Other guys would be ten-deep to take his place if he ever lost her. He couldn’t do anything to risk losing her. He stared at her perfect ass thrusting back at him and let out a deep, animal grunt and collapsed down against her back as he shot his seed deep inside her.
Alexandra felt Gary coming inside her and reached down between her legs. With his shaft throbbing inside her, it just took a couple flicks of her clit to bring her over the edge and she cried out his name as she surrendered to her climax.
Gary levered off his wife and pulled up his shorts. Despite the central air, they were both a sweat mess. Alexandra, in particular, looked well-used. He felt a surge of pride for taking her like that. He ran his hand up her back and said, “I love you, hon.”
“You just did a pretty good job of showing that. Love you, too.”
“Let’s go up to bed.
seven
Gary was restless all morning on Monday. He hadn't spoken to Maggie since last Thursday—since their little bit of fun—and now it was almost noon and she hadn't even come over yet. He didn’t see her Friday because of a doctor’s appointment. That left Maggie three days to stew about what had happened and decide they’d done some horrible thing and that she couldn’t face him. He desperately hoped she didn’t feel that way, but he didn’t know how else to interpret her silence.
At first, he thought he should feel guilty about what happened, but then Alexandra came home late and tipsy Friday night after having drinks with Adam and his annoyance wiped out his guilt. He had still been horny from fooling around with Maggie the day before, and Alexandra looked particularly hot that day, so they had quick, angry sex in the family room as soon as she stumbled into the house. He’d held his tongue that night, but he couldn’t hide his annoyance the next day, which led to a minor row. Alexandra pointed out that she never gave him crap when he went out for happy hour and Gary couldn’t explain how it was different without sounding like a jealous husband, so he’d dropped it. He at least hoped that Adam shamelessly flirted with her as usual—it made him feel better about what had happened with Maggie.
Gary was in the backyard, tossing the ball with Connor when there was a rap on the gate and it opened. Maggie ushered her kids through it and followed them into the backyard. "Hope we're not interrupting anything important," she said brightly.
"Not at all. Connor and I were just wondering where everyone was today," Gary replied, hoping his relief did not show. Maggie looked cute as a button in jean shorts, layered red and white tank tops and a red bandana holding her dark hair back. Gary was attracted to her at once and feared his feelings might be more than he’d thought. He might have a full-blown crush.
"Aimee was fussy this morning, so I told her we weren't coming over until she behaved herself."
Gary glanced over and Aimee was all smiles as she ran over to Connor and the kids ran off together while Tyler picked up the forgotten ball and played with it. "She seems good now. You're going to have to teach me all of your parenting secrets."
"No secrets here. I just think my daughter has an enormous crush on your son."
"It looks like Connor might feel the same way," he said, watching the kids and happy for the distraction. "At least he's got good taste in women. Should we start planning the wedding now?"
"Let's see how things work out, but you never know what may happen in the future.” Maggie playfully patted him on the arm and then went after the kids. Gary noticed—no hug.
It was already late morning, so lunch was rapidly upon them. Playing with the kids kept the adults busy, so there was no awkwardness. If Maggie was bothered, she showed no signs and Gary began to feel silly for being so uptight.
Lunch was quick, and followed by the usual struggle to get the kids to nap. Connor was a particular pain and Gary had to stay in the bedroom longer to get him to settle down, while Maggie went downstairs to clean up lunch. Once the boy was finally down, Gary went to the kitchen, but found it empty. Maggie was sitting in the family room. Seeing her on the couch brought it all rushing back and he couldn’t think of anything but what had happened between them. Blood rushed to his crotch, and he prayed he would not get a full erection. He joined her on the couch—leaving an unusual gap between them—and reached for the remote.
“House of Cards?” he asked.
Maggie bit her tongue. They had to talk about what happened, but Gary seemed content to pretend it was nothing. Was it nothing to him? She couldn’t believe he felt that way. He just was not that kind of guy—which was why she had such a huge crush on him. Gary probably didn’t know what to say, just like her. It was probably all he was thinking about—just like her. It had been a strange few days for Maggie. Whenever she had a spare moment, she thought of Gary, and she got the chills. She felt guilty, of course. It was just her nature, but at the same time she thought fondly of their encounter. Maggie told herself that it was okay because they’d stopped themselves before things got out of hand.
If Gary was not going to bring it up, Maggie realized she had to.
“Don’t you think we need to talk?” she asked, looking him in the eye. Her feelings for Gary were giving her newfound courage.
"Thank God," he replied, exhaling loudly. "I wanted to talk about it, but I didn't know what to say. I have no idea what you’re thinking."
Maggie smiled. "Then you should have asked. Maybe you should start by telling me what you think."
"I, well, I, uhmm.” Suck it up and be a man, Gary told himself. He could almost hear it in Alexandra's voice. "I know that maybe what happened between us wasn't appropriate. I'm sorry if you feel like I did something I shouldn't have, but it felt like there was this moment between us."
"Do you think it was something we shouldn't have done?" Maggie was concerned.
"Uh, no. I mean, we didn't go too far, did we? We didn't have sex, no clothes came off. We didn't even kiss—not really. Maybe we went past flirting, but I don’t think we really cheated, did we?” Gary threw the last out there hoping Maggie would pick up the reference to the way their spouses always behaved. They probably deserved to show off some steam after the way Alexandra and Adam had behaved all these years.
"You’re right. All we did was take a nap together. We were both having good dreams that confused us a little when we woke up. But when we realized what was happening we stopped. We were responsible.” It was what she’d been telling herself all weekend.
"No, we were totally cool. I bet if I told Alexandra about it she'd think it was silly."
Maggie stiffened. "Did you?"
"No, I didn't see any reason to.” Gary could see she was relieved, which meant she hadn't said anything to Adam either.
"No, it can stay our little secret. It'll be nice to have something between us," Maggie said.
“And those two,” he added, “who knows if they would have had as much restraint.” Gary didn’t see Adam stopping himself if he were unleashed on Alexandra.
They fell back into silence, but the space between them was tinged with energy. The air was cleared, so they naturally wondered what came next. Did they go back to how it was be
fore? If they could, did they really want to. They reasoned away what they’d done, which meant there was not an impediment to doing it again. If napping together was innocent…
Gary was the first one to voice it. All he could think about was getting close to Maggie. He didn’t care that they were playing with fire. He thought about Adam and Alexandra out at the bar Friday night, laughing it up and shamelessly flirting. How far had that gone without their spouses there to temper their behavior.
"Y'know, I’m kind of tired. If you are too—” Gary suggested, without meeting Maggie's eyes.
"I could totally use a nap," she interjected, trying not to sound eager. She was confident they would behave themselves this time, but it would be nice to lie down together. "Should we just stretch out here?"
Gary’s stomach was in his throat when he suggested, “There's not much room on this couch. We’d be more comfortable upstairs."
"That way if one of the kids wakes up we'll be close."
“I’m not suggesting…” he hastily added.
“No, we’re both adults. We can lay on top of the covers, dressed, and it’s fine,” she agreed.
Gary couldn't help but admire her round ass as he followed her up the stairs. He'd always liked a nice, meaty ass. In the bedroom, he drew the shades halfway while Maggie kicked off her sandals and sat on the side of the big, king-sized bed—Alexandra’s side. That felt wrong. The peach down comforter was drawn up, which was good.
Maggie felt odd enough being in the bedroom with Gary, but was glad the bed was made. If she'd seen the bed unmade she wouldn't have been able to help but think of him in it with Alexandra. Gary walked around to his side and climbed onto the high bed. His t-shirt and baggy shorts actually weren’t all that different than what he usually slept in. Maggie was on the far side of the king mattress, on her back and stiff as a rod. He lay down on his side, facing Maggie and encouraged, "Come on over, there's no need to be shy."
